We seek dedicated volunteers passionate about helping newcomers to learn English as a Second Language and settle in our community. KIS Mentorship program empowers, inspires and builds friendships by matching mentors and mentees based on shared interests for three months.
Who is a mentoring volunteer
- A person who lives in Kamloops and BC.
- Someone who wants to learn more about other cultures.
- Someone interested in sharing English skills.
- A person who wants to help someone adjust to living in a new country.

Mentors & Mentees can meet
- Once or twice a week within a three-month period.
- Any location
- In-person or on Zoom.
