We seek dedicated volunteers passionate about helping newcomers to learn English as a Second Language and settle in our community. KIS Mentorship program empowers, inspires and builds friendships by matching mentors and mentees based on shared interests for three months.

Who is a mentoring volunteer

  • A person who lives in Kamloops and BC.
  • Someone who wants to learn more about other cultures.
  • Someone interested in sharing English skills.
  • A person who wants to help someone adjust to living in a new country.

Mentors & Mentees can meet

  • Once or twice a week within a three-month period.
