"Your donation supports much needed programs and services that make genuine differences in the lives
of immigrants, refugees, newcomers and families”.
Make a company or personal donation by participating in one of these ways:
KIS Dignity Fund
Help with various needs not covered by governmental programs and funds; Therapy through Art for
children victim of trauma, transportation to a specialist outside the area, registration to a youth
program, bus passes, etc.
The Bernard Igwe Scholarship Award.
Help a newcomer with improving his/her English level by enrolling in an English class at Thompson River
University.
Refugee families
Help a family with special needs not covered by other programs. Our most vulnerable children, youth
and families need help on a one-on-one basis and your donation can help them directly.
We can let you know a specific need one of the family with assist has. Some ideas: food, a community
garden plot for the summer, a leadership program for youth, long-term trauma services, need for a car,
car insurance for a year!

If you choose to donate by cheque or cash directly to KIS, we will issue you a charitable tax receipt in a
timely manner.
