Thompson Rivers University (TRU) offers a range of services for international students, such as how to apply for medical services, career guidance (build your resume, cover letter and practice interviews), visa information (extension of study permit and how to apply for Post Graduate Work Permit), finding accommodation, banking, financial aid and a lot more.

Kamloops Immigrant Services (KIS) provides additional support to international students in addition to the services provided by TRU. KIS guides international students through career pathways upon graduation. KIS can also assist during critical situations and works in partnership with the Kamloops Sexual Assault Counselling Centre.
