RED SEAL INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

YOUR ROLE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting to the Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor, the Red Seal Industrial Electrician will support the mill\u2019s continuous improvement efforts through construction projects and general preventative maintenance. The successful candidate will have a previous experience working in an industrial, safety sensitive work environment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2713 Working safely around power distribution up to 13.8kV;
\n\u2713 Trouble shooting and repair of electrical components up to 2,300V;
\n\u2713 Lockout of mill power systems;
\n\u2713 Support mill upgrades and projects including shutdowns;
\n\u2713 General preventative maintenance including motor cleaning, lighting, printing maintenance;
\n\u2713 Construction projects including building tray, pulling cable, terminations, and commissioning.<\/p>\n

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2713 Safety focused;
\n\u2713 Work well in team and possess a friendly and positive demeanor;
\n\u2713 Self-directed and works with minimal supervision;
\n\u2713 Ability to manage time and multi-task to accomplish a variety of assignments with conflicting priorities and deadlines;
\n\u2713 Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
\n\u2713 Strong problem solving and analytical skills, excellent judgment and willingness to learn;
\n\u2713 Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands;
\n\u2713 Detail oriented.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2713 Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certification;
\n\u2713 3-5 years of industrial experience working in a safety sensitive environment;
\n\u2713 Experience working with PLCs;
\n\u2713 Proficient with computers including experience working with Microsoft Office Suite and a computerized maintenance system (i.e. SAP);
\n\u2713 Possessing a dual ticket qualification in Instrumentation and\/or HVAC in addition would be an asset.<\/p>\n
